SPIDER: (Hide Picture or Plastic Spider Under Furniture) I scurry around, barely making a sound. Because I usually don't want to be found.
Under I go, it's the perfect place to hide. I do what I can, but it's not like being outside.
JACK-O-LANTERN: (Hide Picture or Plastic Pumpkin on front step, deck, somewhere outside.) I can be scary, happy or fun. It just depends on how the carving is done.
I like to be out where everyone can see. Search for me and make sure to have a key.
BAT: (Hide Picture or Plastic Bat hanging in a closet or shower.) "You "bat"ter not wake me or grumpy I'll be. I'm asleep in a "cave", no, not in a tree.
I like to be enclosed and hang in the dark. Hope these clues will give you a start."
GHOST: (Hide Picture or Plastic Ghost in refrigerator or freezer.) "My ghostly friends and I like to stay out of sight. But if you really want to see us, you just might.
I'm sooo cold, just waiting for you. When the light comes on, you will hear a big BOO!"
MONSTER EYES: (Hide Picture or Plastic Eyes taped to a mirror.) "When you look at your eyes, you might think it's a disguise.
But it's not, it's just me. I'm staring back at you, can't you see?"
HALLOWEEN CANDY: (Hide Candy in your child's favorite place - bedroom, playroom, etc.) "You've done all the work and now at the end. No more tricks, it's time for a friend.
I'm in one of your favorite spots, and know you'll like me lots!"
