Heart Creatures Craft:
Kids have a blast creating these adorable creatures!
Materials:
Foam Sticker Craft Hearts (various sizes)
Yarn - different colors, cut different lengths
Pipe Cleaners -- for arms & legs of Valentine Creature
Googly eyes
Feathers or any other materials you have around the house
Directions:
1. Take 2 foam hearts that are the same size and color -- the larger the better.
2. Pull the sticker paper off of one of them and add "hair" (yarn, feathers etc.) sticking up on the top portion of the heart, add short pipe cleaners on either side of middle of heart (arms) and pipe cleaners sticking down from bottom of heart (legs). Make sure the materials are attached to the sticky part of the heart.
3, Pull sticker paper off second heart and press firmly to first heart, making sure its aligned. This holds all of the materials in place without any messy glue!
4. Add smaller hearts to ends of pipe cleaners for hands and feet.
5. Put on googly eyes and smaller heart for mouth.
6. Next you can come up with some creative ideas for the Valentines Creatures to be holding.
